AUTM Honors Lisa L. Mueller as Volunteer of the Year

WASHINGTON, DC – March 2025 – AUTM proudly announces Lisa L. Mueller, JD, as the recipient of its 2025 Volunteer of the Year Award, the organization’s highest honor recognizing exceptional leadership and contributions to the technology transfer community. Mueller was presented with the award during the AUTM Annual Meeting, where industry leaders gathered to celebrate innovation and collaboration.

A shareholder at Casimir Jones SC, Mueller has been a dedicated AUTM volunteer for years, serving on multiple committees, including the Annual Meeting Program, Better World Project, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Beyond her committee work, she has made a lasting impact as the host of AUTM’s “On the Air” podcast, guiding conversations with hundreds of technology transfer professionals since the show’s launch in March 2020. With more than 250 episodes to date, Mueller has helped shine a spotlight on the critical role of technology transfer in driving societal progress.

“This award is not just a personal honor—it’s a testament to our shared commitment to innovation, progress, and equality,” said Mueller during her acceptance speech at the AUTM Annual Meeting.
