Dr. Loren assists clients across a broad range of patent legal services, including patent preparation and prosecution, due diligence review, freedom to operate and patentability analyses, post-issuance proceedings, and litigation. Dr. Loren’s litigation experience covers all phases of litigation, including pre-suit analysis, discovery, and trial. Dr. Loren primarily focuses his practice on chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

Dr. Loren’s research experience includes synthesis and evaluation of small molecules and polymers for pharmaceutical and drug delivery applications, synthesis and evaluation of polymeric MRI contrast agents, and development of an automated continuous-flow chemical reaction and purification platform. His diverse research experience allows him to assist clients in a broad range of technology areas.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and ice hockey, cooking, and traveling.
