He prepares and prosecutes patent and trademark applications and drafts various legal opinions, leveraging his background in finite element analysis and aerodynamics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Thomas specializes in assisting businesses of all sizes by providing personalized strategic guidance in navigating the complicated world of intellectual property. He is experienced in many areas of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, trade secrets and litigation. Some of the services he regularly provides to clients is preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, drafting patentability, freedom-to-operate, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions, and consultation and representation of clients in a variety of litigation matters and administrative proceedings. While at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, his studies focused on finite element analysis, aerodynamics, and wind tunnel testing.
