Dr. Reynolds specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications, offering patent-related opinions, and providing strategic IP advice, with a focus on chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Her diverse research background enables her to quickly understand new technologies, and she has experience with small molecule therapeutics, research tools, drug formulations, and more, as well as handling appeals and litigation.

Dr. Reynolds prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the U.S. and abroad. She also provides clients with patentability, freedom-to-operate, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions, conducts due diligence reviews, and provides strategic intellectual property advice to her clients. She focuses her practice mainly in the areas of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

Dr. Reynolds has a diverse research background in organic, inorganic, and biological chemistry. Her breadth of research experience allows her to quickly grasp new technologies in a wide range of fields. She has particular experience working with clients to protect their innovations in the areas of small molecule therapeutics, fluorescence and luminescence-based research tools, drug formulations, methods of disease treatment, polymers, carbohydrates, catalysts, and nutraceuticals.

While at Casimir Jones, Dr. Reynolds has also gained experience appealing Patent Trial and Appeal Board decisions to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and handles small litigation matters in Wisconsin federal courts.
