Casimir Jones Represents Promega in Patent Infringement Case

Successfully Defending Innovation & IP Value
Casimir Jones is proud to have represented Promega Corporation in asserting and protecting its high-value intellectual property. In March 2025, Promega filed a patent infringement complaint against Aobious, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, asserting infringement of key luciferase-substrate technology patents. By August of 2025, the parties reached a settlement under a consent judgment that confirmed Aobious’s infringement of Promega’s patents, imposed a permanent injunction on the defendant, and established monetary compensation for Promega. The outcome of this case underscores our commitment to achieving strong results for our clients and safeguarding their cutting-edge technology through strategic IP enforcement.
